Separation

Marriage was designed to be a permanent, lifelong relationship between a man and woman. In extreme cases, however, a marriage may require a time of separation. For instance, a separation can sometimes create a cooling-off period; time spent apart can provide the opportunity for a couple to resolve conflicts and unhealthy patterns, as well as work on personal and spiritual growth. It €™s important to realize that separation is not always the precursor to divorce. Instead, it can be the first step toward healing and reconciliation. We stand ready to offer assistance during this difficult, but perhaps necessary, time.
